COMMUNITY & PRESERVATION

“The Illges Woodruff Estate has become much more than a restoration project for me. It is a labor of love and a way to give back to the community that has given so much to my family over the years.

I believe historic homes deserve more than preservation, they deserve purpose. My goal has always been to restore these properties in a way that honors their history while allowing them to continue serving the people of Columbus. Whether someone is visiting for a wedding, a family gathering, an overnight stay, or a community event, I want them to feel connected to the stories and history that make this place so special.

Giving back is an important part of that mission. Through local partnerships, charitable donations, silent auction stays, and community events, I look for opportunities to ensure the estate remains an active and meaningful part of Columbus.

Preservation and community go hand in hand. By caring for these homes and sharing them with others, I hope to honor the past while helping create new memories for future generations. The estate’s story is still being written, and I am grateful to be part of that journey.”
